It cannot get more confusing and still all are the same. 

Basically a hammock chair is made from the same material as a hammock, due to their size some can even be used similar to a hammock, most of them are designed to sit in though. Contrary to their name they should not be used for swinging, gentle rocking is fine. 

Hammock chairs come in different sizes, baby swings, small and large chairs – one for everybody!
